H.R. Communications
— We existed before the internet ever was.It all started out building what are now referred to as CPU's. Then, using capacitors. Later, after the advent of the transistor, out of transistors. This progressed to operating the first BBS on the west coast of the US (Best BBS). It ran on a project we were involved with -- Excaliber. From there some of us got involved in the DARPA project, and CSRG. Where first, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) was concieved, then IP (Internet Protocol). Which then made it possible for a guy by the name of Tim Bernes could write the spec for something he called WWW.
We've remained involved in either the creation, or perfection of protocols, and have been involved with every Operating System ever created. Most of which are still in use today. We're members of some 20 standards bodies.
While we will continue to be on the forefront of new, or existing technologies. Our primary interests are in IP transport, and the DNS. We have written, and continue to develop what we find to be the most effective DNS available. To that end, the services we provide lie in this domain. Namely, the DNS. As we have now for some 40 years.
